WATCH: BTS IS LIT IN 'FIRE' MUSIC VIDEO
BTS’ music video for ‘Fire’ is nothing short of impressive. It feels like a bit of a movie with that 45-second long introduction that makes little to no sense, but once BTS is in the zone, they really get down to business.
‘Fire’ is explosive. The track starts off with eruption of a heavy electronic chorus before simmering down into verses that everyone and anyone could bop to.
For the most part, there's a lot of fire and other hot things... for example, BTS… ironing another member of their group and raving behind some gas stoves. You know, ordinary stuff.
It’s plastered with intricate choreography that BTS slays, in an aesthetically-pleasing, pastel world, that constantly flips to a contrasting, darker setting.
The breakdown of the song and the video is super boy-band cliche. Various slow pans of a sole group member, making intense eye contact with the audience. Various slow pans of the group walking like a proper squad. The breakdown ends and turns into an altered, more hype version of the chorus with the group going crazy, performing to a packed out audience.
Don't let that take away from the great experience that is a Bangtan Boys MV though, because it is some seriously good stuff. And this is no different.
