Neil Patrick Harris Tries to be Funny in Promos for Variety Show 'BEST TIME EVER'

Neil Patrick Harris pranks celebrities, dances and does comedy sketches in promotional videos for 'Best Time Ever.' The new variety show is the American adaptation of British series 'Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway,' and it doesn't look that great.

Now I love Neil Patrick Harris and all, but besides mild amusement, there isn't a lot of interest to take away from it. Perhaps the wider audience will prove me wrong.

I'm also concerned, only a little, because I didn't find any of this funny...

Except that time NPH said "this is a game changer," and when he added "it's essentially seven shows happening simultaneously."

If it fails, it will spectacularly fail, and if it succeeds, variety shows may see a resurgence in Western Culture that we haven't gotten the chance to experience yet.

'Best Time Ever' debuts September 15th. Be there or don't bother, I'm indifferent either way.
