LISTEN: KINGJET PROMISES TO ‘DO IT’ IN CHILL HIP-HOP/RAP TRACK
Fresh out of American summer, KingJet brings electric energy to his latest track, Do It.
Coupling a set of energetic rap verses on top of a chill, calming beat, KingJet turns an otherwise average song into something fun and bouncy.
Do It is a callback to Tory Lanez’ auto-tune-esque pitch and Lil Yachty's lightheartedness.
Whilst it looks like heavy auto-tune in modern hip-hip isn’t going anywhere soon, I would prefer songs that allow the artists to really use their voice more as an acoustic, rather than an electronic instrument.
But maybe I’m just old school.
We look forward to KingJet's next single. Hopefully his left of field production and energetic flow knock on our doors once more.
