Watch: 'Pokemon Go' Trailer Brings the Game to the Real World

[follow_me] The Pokemon Channel have released the announcement trailer for 'Pokemon Go,' an application that allows you to "find, catch, trade, and battle" Pokemon from your smartphone.

Nintendo, The Pokemon Company and Niantic collaborated on the location-based, augmented reality game which is due in 2016.

Though we don't get any gameplay or sense of what the game will look like as an interface on our smartphones, kids and adults can't look away from having their childhood dream realised. I just want to catch Raikou!

There is also an accompanying wearable entitled 'Pokemon Go Plus,' which is not necessary to play but surely, in some way enhances the overall experience.
